Basic Framing Monday

Today the crew began the framing for the back door deck/stairs and the pergola. Early on this morning one of the crew sledgehammered the old porch & steps with blows that made the house shudder. But it was all cleanly removed, as you can see in the first photo. Deck & steps will come out to the corner pillar. (All photos are enlargeable.)
