I (Leslie) thought y'all might like to see what we have in mind for this new garage we're having built. Since it's going to take up most of our tiny back yard, I didn't want it to be just a honking new garage. I want it to look like a garden feature in a cozy courtyard. So I'm enclosing a photo of what we want this thing to resemble. At least the side of the garage that will face the back of the house. Instead of using French doors as shown in the photo, we're going to recycle the old wood garage doors from the basement garage. And we won't have the oval openings in the lattice. Anyway, here's the photo.
